Here at Nature’s Luxuries we proudly meet standards for social accountability, wages, benefits, and health and safety within our workforce. Our products are also produced at a factory that goes above and beyond to prioritize environmental management systems and reduce its impact on the planet, using recycled materials whenever possible and limiting waste.
According to a recent report by the Australian Fashion Council, approximately 227,000 tonnes of discarded clothing is sent to landfill in Australia each year. Only 7,000 tonnes is recycled. Crazy right? On top of that, more than 100,000 tonnes of that discarded clothing, can’t be sold in charity shops in Australia and gets exported overseas each year. To prolong the life of a garment is even more sustainable than recycling it. This can be achieved simply by using the garment for a long time, reselling the garment, reusing the fabric to create something new or repairing it. Nature’s Luxuries aims to produce sustainable Activewear that last. Poor-quality products end up in the trash or are returned to the seller. We believe in producing quality products that we proudly wear ourselves!
At Nature’s Luxuries we believe being ethical and sustainable is first about being responsible, starting in our day to day living. From there it continues along with us through to our business.
We pride ourselves on making our priority to create comfortable and fashionable sustainable active wear designs that last, and to do it in a way that minimises our environmental footprint.
Being ethical and sustainable should be as easy as putting on a comfortable outfit. That’s why at Nature’s Luxuries, to complete our sustainable activewear, we partner with only the best, ethical factories around the world and attempt to source only the finest materials. Carefully considering our materials we use and working as a team with our production partners continually improves the way we reduce waste, it minimizes our natural resource use, and removes harmful chemicals and toxins from our clothing but also our work environments.
